പെരുമ്പാവൂരിൽ ലോറിയും കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ബസും കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചു; അപകടത്തിൽ ലോറി ഡ്രൈവർ മരിച്ചു

എറണാകുളം (04/03/20) : പെരുമ്പാവൂർ എം സി റോഡ് ഒക്കൽ വില്ലേജ് ഓഫീസിന്റെ മുൻവശത്ത് കെ.എസ്.ആർ.ടി.സി ബസ്സും ലോറിയും കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ച് ഒരാൾ മരിച്ചു. ലോറി ഡൈവർ തമിഴ്നാട്, ഇറോഡ്, സത്യമംഗലം, ജി.എച്ച്. റോഡിൽ വിജയകുമാർ ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.

ബസ് യാത്രക്കാരായ 20 പേർക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റു. ആരുടെയും പരിക്ക് ഗുരുതരമല്ല. പുലർച്ചെ രണ്ട് മണിക്കായിരുന്നു അപകടം. ആറ്റിങ്ങലിൽ നിന്നും കായ ഇറക്കിയ ശേഷം വരുകയായിരുന്ന ലോറിയിൽ കൊട്ടാരക്കരയിലേക്ക് പോകുന്ന കെ.എസ്.ആർ.ടി.സി ബസ്സാണ് ഇടിച്ചത്.

വിജയകുമാറിൻ്റെ മൃതദേഹം പെരുമ്പാവൂർ താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.

1 killed as KSRTC bus collides with truck in Kochi

KOCHI: A truck driver was killed when the truck he was driving collided with a KSRTC bus at Perumbavoor on Wednesday. As many as 20 persons who were in the bus sustained injuries but police said none were critical.

The deceased person has been identified as Vijayakumar (50) of Sathyamangalam in Tamil Nadu. The accident took place at Okkal, where VD Gireesh, the driver of the ill-fated KSRTC bus involved in the Avinashi accident, was cremated a few weeks ago.
