Bike passenger killed in road accident in Thodupuzha

THODUPUZHA (16/02/20) : In a tragic incident, a man was killed on the Chenganatu bridge near Thodupuzha on Saturday at 12:39 AM after a jeep rammed into his bike. The deceased is identified as Parthasarathy, a native of PTP Nagar near Thirumala in Thiruvananthapuram. His friend, Kirankumar, suffered serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Thodupuzha.

Both Parthasarathy and Kirankumar have been working as engineers at a private company near Thodupuzha. The friends met with the accident while they were on their way to have lunch. Though Parthasarathy was immediately rushed to the hospital, he was soon pronounced dead. The body is currently kept at the mortuary and will be handed over to the family members after post mortem.

കരിംനഗർ (18/ 02/ 20) : ഞായറാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 9.30 ഓടെയാണ് സംഭവം. തെലങ്കാനയിലെ കരിംനഗർ ടൗണിൽ ലോറി കാറിൽ ഇടിച്ച്, കാർ പാലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വീണ് ഒരാൾ മരിക്കുകയും ഒരാൾക്ക് പരുക്കേൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. കരിംനഗറിൽ നിന്ന് സിദ്ദിപേട്ട് ജില്ലയിലെ ഗജ്‌വെല്ലിലെ കൊമുരവെല്ലി മല്ലന്ന ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുകയായിരുന്ന ശ്രീനിവാസയും ഭാര്യ സ്വരൂപയുമാണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഗുരുതരമായി പരുക്കേറ്റ സ്വരൂപയെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.

രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനത്തിന് മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കാനെത്തിയ പൊലീസ് കോൺസ്റ്റബിൾ പാലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വീണു മരിച്ചു. കോൺസ്റ്റബിൾ ചന്ദ്രശേഖർ ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. സമീപത്തെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.

കോട്ടയം (24/07/18) : ഹോട്ടലിന്റെ പാർക്കിങ് ഏരിയായിൽ നിന്നു അശ്രദ്ധയോടെ ഹൈവേയിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിച്ച ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷയിൽ ഇടിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ വെട്ടിച്ച കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ബസ് റോഡരികിലെ കുഴിയിലേക്കു മറിയുകയായിരുന്നു. ദേശീയപാതയിൽ നെടുംകുഴി ആർഐടി ഗവ. എൻജിനീയറിങ് കോളജ് ജംക്​ഷനു സമീപമാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്.

അശ്രദ്ധമായി ദേശീയപാതയിലേക്ക് കയറിവന്ന ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ അപകടമാണ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം കോട്ടയം പാമ്പാടിയിൽ നടന്നത്. ഇടറോഡിൽ നിന്ന് ഹൈവേയിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കുമ്പോൾ മറ്റു വാഹനങ്ങൾ വരുന്നുണ്ടോയെന്നു നോക്കി ഉറപ്പു വരുത്തണമെന്ന സാമാന്യ ബോധം പോലും പാലിക്കാത്തതാണ് 16 പേർക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റ അപകടത്തിന്റെ കാരണം എന്ന് ദൃശ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യക്തം. സമീപത്തെ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്നും ലഭിച്ച സിസിടിവി ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ അപകടത്തിന്റെ യഥാർഥ വശം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുണ്ട്.

വൈക്കം (06/08/18) : കുറവിലങ്ങാട് വൈക്കം റോഡിൽ മൂവാങ്കൽ ജംക്‌ഷനിൽ കാറും ബൈക്കും കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ച് യുവാവ് മരിച്ച സംഭവത്തിൽ കാറോടിച്ച കുറവിലങ്ങാട്, വഴുതനപ്പള്ളിൽ മെസി ഇഗ്നേഷ്യസിനെതിരെ മനഃപൂർവമല്ലാത്ത നരഹത്യക്ക് കേസെടുത്ത് ജാമ്യത്തിൽ വിട്ട‌യച്ചു. ഗുരുതരമായ ഗതാഗത നിയമലംഘനം നടത്തിയതിന് ഇവരുടെ ലൈസൻസ് റദ്ദാക്കാൻ മോട്ടോർ വാഹന വകുപ്പ് നടപടികളാരംഭിച്ചു. എറണാകുളം പാലാരിവട്ടം നെടുങ്ങാടൻ അപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റ്സ് ജ്യൂവൽ ഹോം ഫ്ലാറ്റ് ഡി ഒന്നിൽ ലാലു മാത്യുവിന്റെ മകനും കംപ്യൂട്ടർ ഹാർഡ് വെയർ മെക്കാനിക്കുമായ ബിപിൻ പി.മാത്യുവാണ് (30) അപകടത്തിൽ മരിച്ചത്. തിങ്കൾ ഉച്ചയ്ക്കായിരുന്നു അപകടം. കാറോടിച്ചയാളുടെ അശ്രദ്ധയാണ് അപകട കാരണമെന്നു പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.

സിസിടിവികളിൽ നിന്നു ലഭിച്ച വിഡിയോ ദൃശ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിയമലംഘനം വ്യക്തമാണ്. കാർ ഓടിച്ചിരുന്ന മെസിക്കൊപ്പം മൂന്നു കുട്ടികളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കാർ മൂവാങ്കൽ ജംക്‌ഷനിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ വലതു വശത്തേക്ക് അതിവേഗത്തിൽ തിരിച്ചു. ഇൻഡിക്കേറ്റർ പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിക്കുകയോ സിഗ്നൽ കാണിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് ക്യാമറ ദൃശ്യങ്ങളിൽ വ്യക്തമാണെന്നു പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.

അമ്പലപ്പുഴ (02/03/20) : അമിതവേഗത്തിൽ പോയ കാറിടിച്ച്, ബൈക്ക് യാത്രികനായ അഗ്നിരക്ഷാസേന ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന് പരുക്ക്. ഇദ്ദേഹത്തെ ഇടിച്ചു തെറിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം, മുൻചക്രത്തിൽ കുരുങ്ങിയ ബൈക്കുമായി കാർ പാഞ്ഞത് ഒരു കിലോമീറ്ററിൽ അധികം. തോട്ടപ്പള്ളി കാർത്തികയിൽ ശരത്തി(34)നാണ് പരുക്കേറ്റത്. ബൈക്കിൽ നിന്നു തെറിച്ചു കാറിന്റെ ചില്ലിൽ ഇടിച്ച ശേഷം പാതയോരത്തേക്കു വീഴുകയായിരുന്നു. പരുക്കുകളോടെ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തെ ആലപ്പുഴ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.

കാർ ഓടിച്ചിരുന്ന പുന്നപ്ര റിഫാസ് മൻസിലിൽ റിസ്വാനെ (19) അമ്പലപ്പുഴ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. വൈദ്യ പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് വിധേയനാക്കിയ ശേഷം കേസെടുത്ത് ഇയാളെ ജാമ്യത്തിൽ‌ വിട്ടു.

ഇതോടെ ദേശീയപാതയിൽ അര മണിക്കൂറോളം ഗതാഗതം മുടങ്ങി. 4 മാസം മുൻപാണ് റിസ്വാൻ ഡ്രൈവിങ് ലൈസൻസ് നേടിയത്. അപകടമുണ്ടായതിനെത്തുടർന്നുള്ള പരിഭ്രാന്തിയിലാണ് യുവാവ് കാർ നിർത്താതെ ഓടിച്ചുപോയതെന്നു പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. കാറിനു ബ്രേക്ക് കിട്ടാതിരുന്നതിനാലാണു നിർത്താൻ കഴിയാതിരുന്നതെന്നു റിസ്വാൻ പൊലീസിനു മൊഴി നൽകി. ബ്രേക്കിനു തകരാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ലെന്നു പൊലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
