പാലോട് (9-05-2020)∙ തിരുവനന്തപുരം – തെങ്കാശി പാതയിൽ കൊല്ലായിലിനു സമീപം തമിഴ്നാട് ചരക്ക് ലോറി നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ട് വൈദ്യുത പോസ്റ്റ് ഇടിച്ചു തകർത്തു. റോഡിന്റെ സംരക്ഷണ ഭിത്തിയിൽ പുതഞ്ഞു നിന്നതിനാൽ വീട്ടുമുറ്റത്തെ കുഴിയിലേക്ക് പതിക്കാതെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു. 08-05-020 ഉച്ചയോടെ   മഴ യുള്ളപ്പോൾ പാലോട് ഭാഗത്തു നിന്ന് പോകുകയായിരുന്നു മിനിലോറിയാണ് അപകടത്തിൽപെട്ടത്.മലയോര ഹൈവേയുടെ നിർ്മാണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടു രണ്ടു നില കെട്ടിടങ്ങളുടെ ഉയരത്തിലാണ് പലയിടത്തും സംരക്ഷണഭിത...സംരക്ഷണഭിത്തി നിർ്മിച്ചത്. പല വീടുകളും ഇപ്പോൾ കുഴിയിലാണ്. റോഡ് നിർമ്മാണത്തിലെ അശാസ്ത്രീയത അപകടങ്ങൾ കൂട്ടുന്നതായി നാട്ടുകാർ പരാതിപ്പെടുന്നു. പലയിടത്തും മഴക്കാലത്ത് വീടുകളിലേക്ക്  ചെളിവെള്ളം ഒലിച്ചിറങ്ങുന്നതു മൂലം ദുരിതത്തിലാണ്..

Palode (9-05-2020) ∙ On the Thiruvananthapuram-Tenkashi road, a Tamil Nadu freight lorry derailed near Kollayil and smashed an electric post. He escaped unscathed as he was trapped in the protective wall of the road. 08-05-020 In the afternoon, when it was raining, the mini lorry was traveling from Palode area. Many houses are now in ruins. Locals complain that unscientific road construction increases accidents. In many places, houses are in dire straits due to floodwaters during the monsoon season.
