കുന്നത്തൂർ(03-06-2020):റോഡ് നിർമ്മാണത്തിലെ അശാസ്ത്രീയത തുടർന്ന് കെ.എസ്.ആർ.ടി.സി ബസ് ഒരു വശത്തേക്ക് ഭാഗികമായി മറിഞ്ഞ് അപകടം. അപകടത്തെ തുടർന്ന് വൻദുരന്തം ഒഴിവായത് തലനാരിഴയ്ക്ക്.03-06-2020 ഉച്ചയോടെ കാരാളിമുക്ക് പൊട്ടക്കണ്ണൻ മുക്കിന് വടക്കു വശത്തായിരുന്നു അപകടം നടന്നത്. ഭരണിക്കാവിൽ നിന്നും കൊല്ലത്തേക്ക് പോവുകയായിരുന്ന ബസാണ് അപകടത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട് മറിഞ്ഞത്. എതിരെ വന്ന വാഹനത്തിന് സൈഡ് കൊടുക്കവേ വശത്തേക്ക് മറിഞ്ഞാണ് അപകടം സംഭവിച്ചത്. റോഡും പാതയോരവും തമ്മിലുള്ള ഉയരവ്യത്യാസമാണ് അപകടത്തിനിടയാക്കിയത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഇതേ സ്ഥലത്ത് ബൈക്ക് യാത്രികരായ ദമ്പതികളുടെ ആറ് മാസം പ്രായമായ കുഞ്ഞിനും അപകടത്തിൽ പരിക്കേറ്റിരുന്നു. ലോക്ക് ഡൗൺ മറവിൽ ശാസ്താംകോട്ട ചവറ റൂട്ടിൽ ആഞ്ഞിലിമൂട് മുതൽ പൊട്ടക്കണ്ണൻ മുക്ക് വരെയുള്ള ഭാഗത്ത് നവീകരണം നടത്തിയതാണ് റോഡും പാതയോരവും തമ്മിൽ ഉയരവ്യത്യാസമുണ്ടാവാൻ കാരണമെന്നാണ് പ്രദേശവാസികളുടെ ആരോപണം.
