പടന്ന(04-10-2020): റോഡിൻെറ അരികുവശംകെട്ടാൻ നടു റോഡിൽ ഇറക്കിയ ജില്ലിക്ക് മുകളിൽ പാഞ്ഞുകയറിയ ബൈക്ക് മറിഞ്ഞ് യാത്രികന് ഗുരുതര പരിക്ക്. പടന്ന ബസാറിലെ പി.ഖാലിദിൻെറ മകൻ എൽ.കെ. സിയാദാണ് (20) വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാത്രി ആയിറ്റി കൊക്കടവിൽ അപകടത്തിൽപെട്ടത്. തലക്ക് സാരമായ പരിക്കോടെ കണ്ണൂരിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രി തീവ്രപരിചരണ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട യുവാവ് അപകടനില ഇനിയും തരണം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. എടച്ചാക്കൈ പാലം മുതൽ ആയിറ്റി വരെ റോഡിന് ഇരുവശവും താഴ്ചയായതിനാൽ മെണ്ണാലിച്ച് റോഡിന് ഭീഷണിയാകുന്നതിനാലാണ് വശങ്ങൾ കെട്ടി സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ, ഇതിനായി മണ്ണും ജില്ലിയും ഇറക്കിയതാവട്ടെ നടുറോട്ടിലും. അണക്കെട്ട് പരിസരം, അഴീക്കൽ ജുമാമസ്ജിദ് പരിസരം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ പണി പൂർത്തിയായെങ്കിലും ബാക്കിവന്ന ജില്ലിയും മണ്ണും റോഡിൽ തന്നെ കിടക്കുകയാണ്. രാത്രി ഇതുവഴി കടന്നുപോകുന്ന വാഹനങ്ങൾക്കാണ് ഇത് ഭീഷണിയാകുന്നത്. രാത്രി വാഹനമോടിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് കാണുന്ന വിധത്തിലുള്ള റിഫ്ലക്ടർ സ്റ്റിക്കറോ മറ്റ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് സംവിധാനമോ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നതാണ് ബൈക്ക് അപകടത്തിൽപെടാൻ കാരണം. ഇത്തരം മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് സംവിധാനം സ്ഥാപിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിൽ ഇനിയും ഇവിടെ അപകടമേഖലയാകും.
