വട്ടിയൂര്ക്കാവ് (11-05-2020): നിയന്ത്രണംവിട്ട കാര് വൈദ്യുതത്തൂണിലിടിച്ചുണ്ടായ അപകടത്തില് രണ്ടുപേര്ക്ക് പരുക്കേറ്റു . ഇടിയുടെ ആഘാതത്തില് വൈദ്യുതത്തൂണ് കാറിനു മുകളിലേക്കു ഒടിഞ്ഞുവീണു. കാര്യാത്രികരായ വെെെള്ളക്കടവ്, പുളിമൂട് രാധാഹൗസില് രാധ (67), മകന് മണികണ്ഠന് (46) എന്നിവരെ പരുക്കുകളോടെ മെഡിക്കല്കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇടപ്പഴിഞ്ഞിയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്നിന്നു തിരികേ വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോകുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് അപകടം ഉണ്ടായത് .
10-05-2020 ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് പന്ത്രണ്ടോടെ മരുതന്കുഴി-കാഞ്ഞിരംപാറ റോഡില് വി.കെ.പി. നഗറിനു മുന്നില്വച്ചായിരുന്നു സംഭവം . രണ്ടു വൈദ്യുതത്തൂണുകളിലായാണ് വാഹനമിടിച്ചത്. തുടര്ന്ന് സമീപത്തെ ഓടയിലേക്കു വാഹനം ഇടിച്ചിറങ്ങി. ഡ്രൈവര് സീറ്റിലായിരുന്ന മണികണ്ഠനെ ഡോര് തുറന്ന് നാട്ടുകാരാണ് പുറത്തെടുത്തത് . മറുവശത്തെ ഡോര് തുറക്കാനാകാത്തതിനാല് രാധയെ പുറത്തിറക്കാനായില്ല. തുടര്ന്ന് അഗ്നിരക്ഷാസേനയെത്തിയാണ് രാധയെ പുറത്തിറക്കിയത്. രണ്ട് വൈദ്യുതത്തൂണുകള് തകര്ന്ന് റോഡിലേക്കു വീണതിനാല് പ്രദേശത്തെ ഗതാഗതവും വൈദ്യുതവിതരണവും തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടു.
Vattiyoorkavu (11-05-2020): Two persons were injured when an out of control car collided with an electric pole. The electric pole collapsed on top of the car due to the impact of the thunder. Radha (67) and her son Manikandan (46) were admitted to the Medical College Hospital with injuries. The accident happened on the way home from a private hospital in Idappazhinji.
10-05-2020 VKP on Maruthankuzhi-Kanjirampara road at 12 noon. The incident took place in front of the city. The vehicle collided with two electric poles. The vehicle then crashed into a nearby ditch. Manikandan, who was in the driver's seat, was opened by the locals. Radha could not get out as the other door could not be opened. Radha was then released by the fire brigade. Two power poles collapsed and fell on the road, disrupting traffic and power supply in the area.
