രാവിലെ 7.30 ഓടെ മലയോര ഹൈവേയിൽ വായാട്ടുപറമ്പ് ഹണി ഹൗസിന് സമീപത്തായിരുന്നു അപകടം.
ഒരേ ദിശയിൽ നിന്നും വന്ന ജീപ്പും സ്കുട്ടറും തമ്മിൽ കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചായിരുന്നു അപകടം. മുന്നിൽ പോയ ജീപ്പ് പെട്ടന്ന് വലതു വശത്തെ പോക്കറ്റ് റോഡിലേക്ക് തിരിഞ്ഞതോടെ സ്കൂട്ടർ ജീപ്പിൽ ഇടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. രണ്ടു യുവാക്കളായിരുന്നു സ്കൂട്ടറിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ഇടിയുടെ ആഘാതത്തിൽ റോഡിൽ തെറിച്ചു വീണ ഇരുവരേയും ഉടൻ തന്നെ കരുവഞ്ചാലിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും മനീഷ് മരണത്തിന് കീഴടങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു.
Kannur (23/05/2020): A young man died in a road accident at Karuvanchal. Manish, a native of Cherupuzha Kadumeni, was killed.
The accident took place at around 7.30 am on the hilly highway near Vayattuparambu Honey House.
The accident took place when a jeep collided with a scooter coming from the same direction. The jeep in front suddenly turned into the pocket road on the right and the scooter collided with the jeep. There were two young men on the scooter. The two were rushed to a private hospital in Karuvanchal but Manish succumbed to his injuries.
