കോഴിക്കോട്(14-06-2020): ദേശീയപാതയിൽ ഇരിങ്ങൽ മാങ്ങുൽപാറക്ക് സമീപം ടാങ്കർ ലോറിയും കാറും കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ച് പിതാവും മകളും മരിച്ചു. കണ്ണൂർ സ്വദേശി ആഷിക്ക് (49), മകൾ ആയിഷ (19) എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഇന്നലെ രാത്രി പത്തേകാലോടെയാണ് അപകടം. ഇവർ സഞ്ചരിച്ച കാർ എതിരെ വന്ന ടാങ്കർ ലോറിയുമായി കൂട്ടിയിടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ആയിഷ വടകര സഹകരണാശുപത്രിയിലും ആഷിക്ക് ഗുരുതരാവസ്ഥയിൽ കോഴിക്കോട് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിയിൽ കൊയിലാണ്ടിയിലുമാണ് മരിച്ചത്.മംഗലാപുരത്ത് നിന്ന് എറണാകുളത്തേക്കു പോകുന്ന ഭാരത് ഗ്യാസിന്റെ ടാങ്കർ ലോറിയാണ് അപകടത്തിൽപ്പെട്ടത്. ആഷിക്കും മകളും ബന്ധുക്കളായ രണ്ടു പേരോടൊപ്പം കാറിൽ കണ്ണൂരിലേക്കു മടങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു. പയ്യോളി പൊലീസും ഫയർഫോഴ്സസും സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയാണ് മേൽനടപടികൾ സ്വീകരിച്ചു. അപകടത്തെതുടർന്ന് ദേശീയ പാതയിൽ ഏറെ നേരം ഗതാഗതം സ്തംഭിച്ചു.
Kozhikode (14-06-2020): A father and daughter were killed when a tanker lorry collided with a car near Iringal Mangulpara on the National Highway. The deceased have been identified as Aashiq, 49, of Kannur and his daughter Ayesha, 19. The accident happened at around 10 last night. The car they were traveling in collided with an oncoming tanker lorry. Ayesha died at Vadakara Co-operative Hospital and Aashi died in critical condition at Koyilandy on the way to Kozhikode Hospital. Aashiq and his daughter were returning to Kannur in a car with two relatives. Payyoli police and fire brigade reached the spot and took action. Traffic on the national highway was paralyzed for a long time following the accident.
