ആലപ്പുഴ(09-08-2020): കായംകുളം-പുനലൂർ റോഡിൽ കറ്റാനം കോയിക്കൽ ചന്തയ്ക്ക് സമീപം ഇന്നോവ കാർ സ്കൂട്ടറുമായി കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചുണ്ടായ അപകടത്തിൽ രണ്ടു പേർ മരിച്ചു. കറ്റാനം കട്ടച്ചിറ കുറ്റിലേത്ത് അച്ചൻകുഞ്ഞിൻ്റെ മകൻ അജി (20), തമിഴ്നാട് തേനി സ്വദേശി കറുപ്പയ്യ (സൂര്യ -24) എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഇരുവരും കെപി റോഡിലെ മൂന്നാംകുറ്റിക്ക് സമീപത്തെ കാട്ടൂർ സൂപ്പർ മാർക്കറ്റിലെ ജീവനക്കാരായിരുന്നു.08-08-2020 ഞായറാഴ്ച്ച വൈകീട്ട് ആറു മണിയോടെ കെ പി റോഡിൽ കോയിക്കൽ ചന്തയ്ക്ക് സമീപം വെച്ചായിരുന്നു അപകടം. ഗോഡൗണിൽ സാധനങ്ങൾ ഇറക്കിയശേഷം തിരികെ സ്കൂട്ടറിൽ സൂപ്പർ മാർക്കറ്റിലേക്ക് വരുമ്പോഴായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. ഇരുവരുടെയും മൃതദേഹം കായംകുളം താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രി മോർച്ചറിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.
Alappuzha: Two persons were killed when an Innova car collided with a scooter near Kattanam Koyikkal market on Kayamkulam-Punalur road. The deceased have been identified as Aji (20), son of Kattachira Kuttileth Achenkunju of Kattanam and Karuppayya (24) of Theni, Tamil Nadu. The two were employees of Kattoor supermarket near Munnamkutty on KP Road. The accident took place near Koyikkal market on KP Road around 6 pm on 08-08-2020 Sunday. The incident took place when he was returning to the supermarket on a scooter after unloading goods in the godown. Their bodies were shifted to the Kayamkulam Taluk Hospital mortuary.
