കൊപ്പം(07-08-2020) : പട്ടാമ്പി-പുലാമന്തോൾ പാതയിലെ ശങ്കരമംഗലത്തെ വളവിൽ അപകടം വിട്ടൊഴിയുന്നില്ല. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച ലോറിയും കാറും ഇവിടെ മറിഞ്ഞു. ഡ്രൈവർമാർ പരിക്കുകളില്ലാതെ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. ശങ്കരമംഗലത്തെ ആനവളവിലെ അപകടസാധ്യതകളെക്കുറിച്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം മാതൃഭൂമി വാർത്ത നൽകിയിരുന്നു.06-08-2020 വ്യാഴാഴ്ചരാവിലെ 11 മണിയോടെ പട്ടാമ്പി ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് മലപ്പുറം ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് പോകുകയായിരുന്ന തമിഴ്നാട് രജിസ്ട്രേഷനിലുള്ള ലോറി തോട്ടിലേക്ക് മറിഞ്ഞു. വളവിലെ ഇറക്കത്തിൽ മറ്റൊരുവാഹനത്തിന് വശം കൊടുക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് അപകടമെന്നാണ് അറിയുന്നത്. ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ഒരുമണിയോടെയാണ് കാർ മറിഞ്ഞുള്ള അപകടം.മലപ്പുറത്തുനിന്ന് പട്ടാമ്പിഭാഗത്തേക്ക് വരികയായിരുന്ന കാറാണ് വളവ് എത്തുന്നതിനുമുൻപ് റോഡരികിലെ കിടങ്ങിലേക്ക് ചെരിഞ്ഞത്. പെരിന്തൽമണ്ണ സ്വദേശി മുഹമ്മദ് ഹസന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ളതാണ് കാർ. പട്ടാമ്പി പോലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയിരുന്നു.
Koppam (07-08-2020): Accidents continue at the Shankaramangalam bend on the Pattambi-Pulamantol road. The lorry and car overturned here on Thursday. The drivers escaped unharmed. A Tamil Nadu registered lorry heading towards Malappuram overturned in a ravine. It is known to be dangerous when giving way to another vehicle on a downhill curve.. The car overturned at around 1 pm. The car is owned by Mohammad Hasan, a native of Perinthalmanna. Pattambi police had reached the spot.
