വിമാനത്താവള റോഡില്‍ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ കൂട്ടിയിടിക്കുന്നത് പതിവാകുന്നു: തുടരെത്തുടരെ അപകടങ്ങൾ

അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി(24/08/2020): കണ്ണൂര് വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലേക്ക് കണ്ണൂര് നഗരത്തില് നിന്നും എളുപ്പം എത്തിച്ചേരാവുന്ന പാതയിലെ അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി ജംഗ്ഷന് യാത്രക്കാര്ക്കു അപകടക്കെണിയൊരുക്കുന്നു. നാലുഭാഗത്തു നിന്നും റോഡുകള് ചേരുന്ന ജംങ്ഷനാണ്. ചെറുതും വലുതുമായ അപകടങ്ങള്ക്കു കാരണമാവുന്നത്. ഇവിടെ വാഹനാപകടങ്ങള് പതിവായിട്ടും പൊതുമരാമത്ത് വകുപ്പ് നടപടിയെടുക്കാന് തയ്യാറാകുന്നില്ലെന്നതാണ് യാത്രക്കാരുടെയും പ്രദേശവാസികളുടെയും പരാതി. ഒരു ഡിവൈഡര് പോലും ജങ്ഷനില് സ്ഥാപിക്കാന് തയ്യാറാകുന്നില്ല. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം രാത്രി ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷയും കാറും കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചെങ്കിലും തലനാരിഴയക്കാണ് അപകടമൊഴിവായത്.അന്നേ ദിവസം രാത്രി തന്നെ കാറും ജീപ്പുമാണ് കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചത്. ഏതാനും ദിവസം മുന്പ് ചക്കരക്കല് പൊലിസിന്റെ പെേ്രടാളിങ് വാഹനവും ഒരു കാറും തമ്മില് കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചിരുന്നു. പലപ്പോഴും തലനാരിഴയ്ക്കാന് വന് ദുരന്തങ്ങൊളഴിവാകുന്നത്. മമ്പറം, ചാലോട്, ചക്കരക്കല്, മട്ടന്നൂര് ഭാഗങ്ങളിലേക്കുള്ള റോഡുകള് സംഗമിക്കുന്ന കവലയിലാണ് അപകടങ്ങള് നിത്യസംഭവമാകുന്നത്. ഇവിടെ സ്പീഡ് ബ്രേക്കറുകള് സ്ഥാപിക്കണമെന്ന ആവശ്യം ഇതുവരെ പരിഗണിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല. വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ വേഗതയും അപകടത്തിന് കാരണമാകുന്നുണ്ട്. വിമാനത്താവളം പ്രവര്ത്തനമാരംഭിക്കുന്നതിന് മുന്പുള്ളതിനെക്കാള് വലുതും ചെറുതുമായ മൂന്നിരട്ടി വാഹനങ്ങളാണ് കണ്ണൂരില് നിന്നും ചക്കരക്കല് വഴി അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി കീഴല്ലൂര് വഴി വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലേക്ക് സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നത്.അമിത വേഗതയിലാണ് ഇതുവഴി വാഹനങ്ങള് സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നത്്. പകല് നേരങ്ങളില് ചാലോടു ഭാഗത്തു നിന്നും തലശേരി ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് പോകുന്ന ടിപ്പര്ലോറികളും അപകടഭീഷണിയുയര്ത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. ചാലോട് ചക്കരക്കല് ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് പോകുന്നവര്ക്ക് ബസ് കാത്തിരിപ്പു കേന്ദ്രമിവിടെയില്ല. ഇതു അപകടഭീഷണി വര്ധിക്കുകയാണ്. ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷകളും മറ്റു ടാക്സി വാഹനങ്ങളും അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടിയില് റോഡരികിലാണ് പാര്ക്കു ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഇതു കാരണം റോഡിന്റെ വീതി നന്നേ കുറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുകയാണ്.ഇതോടൊപ്പം കുത്തനെയുള്ള റോഡാണ് അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി ബസ് സ്റ്റാന്ഡില് നിന്നും താഴോട്ടെക്കുവരുന്നത്. ഇതു അമിതവേഗതയിലെത്തുന്ന വാഹനങ്ങള് അപകടത്തില്പ്പെടാന് സാധ്യത വര്ധിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ്. അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി ബസ് സ്റ്റാന്ഡില് രാത്രികാലങ്ങളില് സ്വകാര്യബസുകള്; കയറാറില്ലെന്ന പരാതി നേരത്തെയുണ്ട്. ബസ് സ്റ്റാന്ഡ് റോഡാകട്ടെ പൊട്ടിപ്പൊളിഞ്ഞു കിടക്കുകയാണ്. അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി നഗരമെന്നാല് വേങ്ങാട്, അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി എന്നീപഞ്ചായത്തുകള് ചേര്ന്നതാണ് ബസ് സ്റ്റാന്ഡ്, റജിസ്ട്രാര് ഓഫിസ് എന്നിവ, അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി മെഡിക്കല് കോളേജ് തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രധാനസ്ഥലങ്ങള് ഇവിടെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. രാത്രി ഏഴുമണി കഴിഞ്ഞാല് അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി നഗരവും പരിസരവും ഇരുട്ടിലാണ്. ഇവിടെ തെരുവുവിളക്കുകള് കത്തുന്നില്ലെന്നു പരാതിയുണ്ട്. ചക്കരക്കല് പൊലിസ് സ്റ്റേഷന് പരിധിയിലാണ് അഞ്ചരക്കണ്ടി നഗരത്തിന്റെ മിക്ക സ്ഥലങ്ങളും. നേരത്തെ ഇവിടെ ഗതാഗത നിയന്ത്രണത്തിനായി ഒരു ഹോംഗാര്ഡിനെ നിയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും പിന്നീട് പിനവലിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇതോടെയാണ് ഗതാഗതകുരുക്ക് രൂക്ഷമായത്. എന്നാല് ഇവിടെ സ്ഥിരമായി ഗതാഗത നിയന്ത്രണത്തിന് പൊലിസിനെ നിയോഗിക്കണമെന്നാണ് യാത്രക്കാരുടെയും പ്രദേശവാസികളുടെയും ആവശ്യം.

Private buses at night at Ancharakandi bus stand; There is already a complaint of not climbing. The bus stand road is in a state of disrepair. The city of Ancharakandi is made up of the panchayats of Vengadu and Ancharakandi. Ancharakandi city and its surroundings are in darkness after 7 pm. There are complaints that the street lights are not lit here. Most parts of Ancharakandi city are under the jurisdiction of Chakkarakkal police station. Earlier, a home guard was deployed here for traffic control but was later withdrawn. With this, the traffic congestion intensified. But commuters and locals alike want the police to be deployed here for permanent traffic control.
